It was our last day in Costa Rica, and we had to make the most of it. In the morning, we visited the Rio Seco Rainforest, where we hiked trails and walked the grounds. We found a lot of wildlife, including monkeys, toucans, macaws, caimans, and many different bird species.
In the afternoon, we repositioned the ship to Golfito, a little gulf with a small village and gorgeous scenery. The hills are covered by the tropical rainforest. In this area, we kayaked through the mangrove and took Zodiac tours. Once again, the wildlife was spectacular, especially the capuchin monkeys that put on a show of jumping right in front of our eyes.
