Petersburg is a perhaps one of the most delightful towns to visit in Southeast Alaska; quietly active yet still full of life, but on this particular weekend, however, it is overflowing with character. Celebrating the deeply rooted Norwegian heritage for May Day the entire community has turned out to revel in the street (singular, due to the fact there really only is one) and eagerly welcome visitors to join in the fun.
