Our day in Husavik started quietly with overcast skies. As the hikes, drives, and events of the morning unfolded the sunshine came out in full force to reveal the most epically beautiful day imaginable in Husavik. The Icelandic scenery was absolutely incredible, with the sea as smooth as glass and stunning snow topped mountains in the background.
The first adventurers headed to Lake Myvatn and Godafoss to explore the Icelandic highlands, geothermal fields, and waterfalls. Another group set out to enjoy panoramic views on the way to Jokulsa a Fjollum, a designated national park and powerful glacial river canyon. Other guests headed out for the Skalamelur nature walk and Husavik mountain hike and later visited the geothermal spa.
Spirits were sky high from our incredible adventures in Husavik which were enjoyed by all.
