Overnight, the bridge team of National Geographic Sea Bird navigated from the Inian Islands to the northern town of Haines, Alaska within the inside passage. There we took off in small groups for a variety of adventurous activities including the Chilkat River float trip, fly fishing, mountain biking, hiking, and exploring the charming town.
That evening, we were treated to a crab feast and a beautiful sunset. Following dinner, we enjoyed a wonderful presentation by Naturalist Kerri McAllister on glaciers and climate, preparing us for our adventures tomorrow in the glacial fjords of Endicott Arm.
What a fantastic and unforgettable day!
