It’s the second full day of our expedition aboard National Geographic Endeavour II and we are visiting Floreana Island. We started the day with a pre-breakfast walk on Punta Cormorant where we got to see flamingos feeding, boobies dancing, and turtles lounging.
Later in the morning we enjoyed a beautiful snorkeling excursion with brilliant blue water in Champion Islet. Later on, we moved locations to Post Office Bay where we enjoyed some water activities, such as kayaking in Baroness Bay, snorkeling, and visiting Post Office Bay where one can find the oldest postal system in the Pacific Ocean. We picked up postcards to hand deliver upon arrival back home and dropped ours in the barrel so other people can deliver and keep the tradition alive.
