Experience regional cuisine and culture alongside our expert local guides.
Day 1 - Disembark Ship / Dubrovnik, Croatia / Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina

After disembarking Sea Cloud II in Dubrovnik, take a morning drive to historic Mostar, in Bosnia and Herzegovina—a beautiful town that spans the Neretva River and is famed for its Old Bridge. This spectacularly graceful bridge initially stood between 1556 and 1993, before it was destroyed during the Yugoslavian civil war. It was since been rebuilt using stone from the original quarries, and has been named—along with the surrounding Old Town—a UNESCO World Heritage site. Enjoy a special dinner and Sevdalinka (traditional music) at Biscevica House, a Turkish home built in the 1600s, as you learn about Mostar's history first-hand by a resident of the area. Overnight at Hotel Mepas (or similar). (L,D)

Day 2 - Mostar / Ston, Croatia / Dubrovnik

Take a morning walking tour of historic Mostar and enjoy additional free time to explore on our own. From Mostar drive along the Dalmatian coast to Ston to explore the village and salt pans. Next, visit Dubelj, a 300 year old family owned and operated olive oil mill. Continue to the elegant Hotel Excelsior (or similar), our home for two nights. Dinner is on your own tonight. (B,L)

Day 3 - Dubrovnik

Dubrovnik, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is regarded as the best‐preserved medieval town in the world. On a walking tour this morning, stroll marble paved streets to the 15th‐century Rector’s Palace and the Franciscan Monastery, then walk the ramparts that circle the town. After lunch, enjoy free time to explore on your own. Our local guides will be happy to recommend restaurants that offer regional specialties, as dinner is on your own tonight. (B,L)
