Christian Cooper, the host and consulting producer of National Geographic’s new series Extraordinary Birder, has observed birds on every continent except Antarctica. But that will change when he joins us as guest speaker aboard the December 7, 2023 departure of Journey to Antarctica: The White Continent. “I'm just thrilled that I’ll be seeing a new chunk of the Earth and the birds that come with it,” says Cooper, especially looking forward to spotting penguins and the pelagic birds that accompany our ships through the Drake Passage.
