Today, we explored the rugged beauty of Santiago Island, a place shaped by time, lava, and ocean. In the morning, we set out on a peaceful kayaking adventure along the coast of Buccaneer Cove. As we glided over calm waters, we had an opportunity to admire the unique and dramatic geology of this special place. We were surrounded by wildlife, including blue-footed boobies, Nazca boobies, and sea lions. Magnificent frigatebirds filled the skies and shoreline.

Later, we jumped into the water for a fantastic snorkeling session. In the clear, calm sea, we swam alongside sharks and colorful tropical fish, and we watched boobies diving around us. It was a cheerful and refreshing experience that everyone enjoyed.

In the afternoon, we visited Puerto Egas, where we landed on a black sand beach and walked along the coast. We encountered both marine and land iguanas, Galápagos hawks, and coastal birds. We were fortunate to observe Galápagos fur seals resting in natural lava grottos. As the sun began to set, it cast a golden light over the landscape, creating a perfect ending to an incredible day.
