We awoke this morning further north, nearing the town of Santa Rosalia. As it was yet another beautiful and calm day in the Sea of Cortez, we spent the first part of the day out on the bow looking for wildlife. Then near noon we anchored just outside Santa Rosalia where would spend the rest of the day. We spent a good deal of time visiting the area’s historical sights and eventually made our way to the Hotel Frances where we ended our time in town over a light meal of chips, guacamole, and margaritas. This town is unlike any other here in Baja California, and to spend a day here is a treat one does not often get.
