Today was a fantastic day in the Galápagos Islands. We woke up anchored next to Santa Fe, a small but vibrant island with a large population of sea lions and an endemic species of iguana. The waters inside the bay are turquoise and inviting for snorkeling. Sea turtles were numerous in the bay.
In the afternoon we visited Cerro Brujo. That translates as wizard hill, but there is nothing very witchy about it. There is a beautiful beach with sand that is fine and white. Blue footed boobies and pelicans plunged right next to the shore, and the sea lions, accustomed to us by now, rested peacefully in the sand.
