The most iconic animal in the Galapagos archipelago is the giant tortoise. Today we visited the breeding center on Santa Cruz Island to see the gentle giants in their natural environment. This is one of the expedition’s highlights, and nothing can prepare you to be in front of a huge tortoise! The Galapagos Islands are full of unique experiences!
