We had an exceptional day completely on land, exploring Puerto Ayora and the highlands of Santa Cruz. We began at the Charles Darwin Research Station and the Galapagos National Park giant tortoise breeding center. Then we headed to highlands to visit El Trapiche, a farm stand where we learned about local coffee, sugar, and chocolate! Afterward, we had lunch at Manzanillo Ranch and visited giant tortoises in the wild! Our excursion ended with souvenir shopping in Puerto Ayora.
