Our destination this morning was the island of San Marcos, just south of the city of Santa Rosalia. We had the opportunity to experience a number of different forms of activities as the morning unfolded! First there were walks ranging from a faster aerobic pace, to a slower interpretive one, as well as a more photo orientated walk. Mid-morning the focus turned to more water related activities, snorkeling, kayaking and paddle boarding, as well as a chance to just relax on the beach. During lunch the National Geographic Sea Lion repositioned to the city of Santa Rosalia for an afternoon of exploring this beautiful city on the Sea of Cortes, with the finally being margaritas and chips with the fixings on the veranda of a historic hotel, with a lovely view out to sea!
