Today we had a marvelous time on the eastern island of San Cristobal. This morning we took a long hike along the cliffs of Punta Pitt and found blue-footed boobies nesting on the trail. Further along, we were able to see all three species of bobbies. When we reached the plateau the view was spectacular, and as a morning treat, we cooled off from our hike by swimming and splashing along a sea lion-filled beach.
Our afternoon visit to Cerro Brujo was a great way to wrap up this incredible week. The kids played in the water, jumping from an anchored Zodiac, while the adults had space and time to stroll along the fine white-sand beach and reminisce on all they have seen and experienced.
We are certain that memories of these enchanted islands will last a lifetime!
