The excitement was palpable as we cruised Peril Strait today. We spent our morning on the following: eagerly looking for wildlife along the shores of the narrow pass, safety briefings, and a presentation by National Geographic photo instructor, Bryan Holliday. After lunch, everyone loaded up into Zodiacs to head to shore on Lake Eva via hikes and kayaks for their first look into an old growth temperate rainforest. We were fortunate to have the sun out for the afternoon, and it made for a stunning sunset as we cruised up Chatham Strait towards Glacier Bay National Park.
