la Orana and greetings from French Polynesia. Today, National Geographic Orion sailed into the Bay of Opunohu in Moorea. As the wind howled into the pass, our bridge team found solid anchorage and positioned the ship safely.

This afternoon’s activities included a dive inside the pass of Opunohu Bay, a scenic Zodiac cruise around the bay, and a snorkel experience with sharks and stingrays off Motu Fareone.

Our guests were entertained throughout the day by the beautiful ambience of Moorea, including turquoise waters in the lagoon, the gentle and graceful movements of stingrays and sharks, and a view of the green mountain range.

It is so good to be back in French Polynesia. Cheers!
