Today was a day of waterfalls! National Geographic Resolution cruised through the fjords of Norway right at the edge of the Arctic Circle. Most of the day was spent in Melfjord. While the wind blew down the fjord, the day was bright and sunny. The bird watching from the ship was amazing. Just before lunch there was a chance to take a Zodiac cruise through the steep walls of the fjord. Harbor seals curiously watched as we moved from one jaw-dropping waterfall to another. As the wind picked up again, we jumped back on board the ship and enjoyed lunch. All afternoon was spent sailing south and soaking in the stunning views. What a day!
