After spending the last two days in boats to see grey whales up close, it was great to step foot on beautiful Magdalena Island and explore at sunset. This is one of our favorite places to spend sunset, not only for its surreal sandy landscape, but also for its rich cultural history. While driving a Zodiac back to the beach at sunset, we saw the green flash four times.
