After last night’s crew show we had a wonderful leisurely morning. Adam talked about the different fishing methods before we enjoyed brunch, then we disembarked for our cultural experience in the town of Sumenep. We were presented with elaborate costumes and dances of several groups, including a wedding ceremony as it is done in this part of Indonesia. This was followed by a local buffet with the finest delicacies. There was also an opportunity to buy handmade sarongs or a Kris, a typical Indonesian dagger for which the area is famous.
We listened to a presentation by Birgit about Bali before cocktail hour started. A perfectly prepared dinner rounded out our day, which was filled with rich experiences.
