We awoke again this morning to foggy conditions along the Hudson River, creating more splendid scenery. We cruised up Rondout Creek and anchored near the Hudson River Maritime Museum. This was our homebase for the day as we explored the town of Kingston, toured the museum, rode on the Solaris (a solar powered boat), toured the Rondout Lighthouse, and rolled on trolley rides for our morning adventures. In the afternoon, we toured and then sailed on the Clearwater. This Hudson River sloop was made famous by the late musician Pete Seeger, who spearheaded the environmental movement to clean up the Hudson River.
