Early in the morning, we had a wet landing at Urbina Bay so our photo expedition could take advantage of the early sunlight. Soon after, our natural history groups joined. We were searching for enigmatic reptiles, like the Galapagos giant tortoise and land iguana, along a path covered with lush vegetation. Back onboard, we enjoyed a presentation about Charles Darwin by one of our Naturalists, Celso Montalvo.
During the afternoon, there were options for kayaking, paddle boarding, snorkeling, and Zodiac riding along the coast of Tagus Cove. We also had the opportunity for a long, invigorating, uphill walk to a tuff cone. This was our last day in the western part of the archipelago, and we made the most of it.
