This beautiful morning on Isabela Island, we explored the coastline of Concha Perla. This location provides ideal conditions for mangrove formations, with the winds and ocean currents enriching this marine ecosystem with communities from antagonistic longitudes, such as penguins swimming with tropical reef fishes among lava formations.
We returned for breakfast on board National Geographic Delfina to prepare for our next morning outing. Guests could take a long walk to an active volcano and its caldera or a walk among coexisting endemic habitats with a small developing society.
After a full day of exploring, we continued our course through the night.
