The National Geographic Sea Bird started June off properly! We woke dockside at Glacier Bay National Park where we picked up our park ranger and Tlingit cultural interpreter. Over the course of the day we saw just about everything Alaska has to offer. We were blessed with sightings of Steller sea lions, tufted puffins, eagles, gulls, cormorants, numerous mountain goats and newly born kids, a mother brown bear and three cubs, a lone wolf, humpback whales, mountains, valleys, and of course… marvelous glaciers! Today was one for the record books and smiles were ubiquitous aboard the Sea Bird.
