National Geographic Islander visited one of the most interesting islands in the world today—Genovesa, home of more than one million birds. In the morning, our guests enjoyed a great nature walk at Darwin Bay inside of the caldera of the island, getting quite close to several nesting sites of different seabirds. In the afternoon, we took the Prince Phillips Steps to start an amazing walk that led us to an spectacular location where we were able to see red-footed boobies and short-eared owls.
