This morning we disembarked the ship and boarded buses for a trip to the small town of Parkdale. At the Parkdale grange we all enjoyed freshly baked pies made from the local fruits in the Hood River Valley. At Parkdale we had some great views of Mt. Hood, one of the Cascade Volcanoes and the highest point in the state of Oregon. The photo is of the mountain and a few of the fruit trees at the foothills of the volcano.
