The river is a very quiet place and the occasional sound from a bird flying overhead was the only disturbance. The photo shows folks enjoying the quiet surroundings of the river on their two-hour excursion along the banks of the river. After the morning's activities we were off heading downriver towards the Columbia.

This morning the weather was cool and still. Perfect for activities on the Palouse River, which runs into the Snake River. There were three options this morning: a short trip to Palouse Falls State Park to see the falls; Zodiac tours up the Palouse River; or a chance to kayak up the Palouse.
