Warm afternoon skies graced the remainder of our afternoon as we traveled towards the place where the Snake and Columbia meet.

Moving west on the Snake River, we are spending our morning on the Palouse River. Fall in the Pacific Northwest is a beautiful time of year, and this October is no exception. After spending the morning doing one of three activities - traveling to the Palouse Falls, taking Zodiacs up to the free-flowing Palouse River or kayaking near the confluence of the Palouse and Snake Rivers - there was a wonderful outdoor barbecue on the bridge deck of the Sea Lion!
