Sockeye salmon are running now, and at lunch we had a delicious salmon barbecue of local, very fresh fish. Our day was very full, as usual. This morning some people took a peaceful river float trip and saw numerous bald eagles, while others had spectacular views flightseeing over ice fields and glaciers in Glacier Bay. During cocktails we enjoyed spectacular views of 7,000-foot-high mountains, and small fishing boats at their feet.
