We awoke to a crisp autumn morning today, with beautiful clear skies above, at the mouth of the Palouse River in southeastern Washington. Some of our group chose to visit the dramatic Palouse Falls and then explore the river by Zodiac. Others opted for the serenity of paddling up the Palouse in our sea kayaks. Everyone returned to the Sea Bird in time for a delicious barbecue lunch, served in the sunshine on deck.
