The rest of the day was spent in Haines enjoying various activities. There were a couple of different hikes offered, as well as a float trip to see bald eagles. Some of our guests enjoyed a trout fishing trip, and there was also time to explore the town.

As our ship approached the town of Haines, we came upon a group of Steller's sea lions resting on some large rocks above the low tide line. Some of them would slide on the slick rock down into the ocean and then come back out again after swimming for a few moments. It was quite a show!
