Several options took people in many directions today. Some went rafting, some flightseeing, some fishing, or hiking. Other people explored the charming town of Haines. For lunch we partook of a delectable salmon bake, complemented with salads, bread, chowder, corn, and beverages. This was followed by a performance of native Tlingit dances. In the evening, after dinner, we had a treat and a thrill when we came upon a pod of killer whales! They breached and spyhopped as we watched -- a memorable sight.
