Today the water was extremely clear, and snorkelers and glass bottom boaters had a great time. The place we went in the morning, Bartolome Island, is also an underwater highlight. Underneath us there was a volcanic "tuff" bottom crowded with sea orchins and sea stars. We saw a white tip reef shark from the glass bottom boat, and snorkelers had the opportunity to swim with penguins. The afternoon was also great -- lots of sea lions in the water and a huge "beachmaster" patrolling the landing site.
