Our course continued south-southwesterly through the day. A beaked whale was spotted during lunch, and through the day there were numerous observations of a few different species of seabirds.
Our lecture series again provided us additional information on subjects of interest. In the evening we were treated to a fine Filipino buffet dinner. The dining room crew were dressed in traditional attire, and the foods were marevelous. We all thoroughly enjoyed the variety of dishes and appreciated the hard work the galley had done to put on this special meal.
