Today, we woke up alongside the end of the Caledonian Canal in Fort Williams. We decided to use the bikes available onboard for a pre-breakfast ride on this most perfect morning. We rode along the canal up past Neptune’s Staircase and discovered a great tunnel. Quite the adventure all before breakfast!
Lord of the Glens then began her short journey to the great city of Oban. Known around the world for its whiskey, we spent the afternoon here engaging in various activities. One of those activities included walking to the highest point to view McCaig’s Tower up close. Built from 1897-1902, this iconic structure allowed us to get a great view of the town and bay.
It was a great day here in the Highlands of Scotland.
