National Geographic Islander started activities very early in the morning with a kayaking session around a bay where we observed sea turtles and sea lions all around us. Then we visited Post Office Barrel to continue a Galapagos tradition that started a long time ago. We had breakfast and then headed to Champion Islet, where we took a Zodiac ride around the islet to explore the wildlife. We had the option to snorkel with sea lions, sharks, sea turtles, and many colorful fish.

During the afternoon, naturalist Cristian Saa gave us a Human History Talk where we learned about the history of the Galapagos Islands. Then it was time to leave the ship and continue exploring the island. We took a natural history walk on Punta Cormorant. Here we saw blue-footed boobies engaged in a courtship ritual, and we walked on a sandy beach covered in semi-precious stones. It was just another day in paradise.
