For our third day on National Geographic Islander II, guests started the day with early morning activities, including kayaking, snorkeling, and a visit to the post office barrel. The activities were full of excitement and a vast number of diverse animal sightings, including sea lions and turtles. We also enjoyed a historical visit to the post office barrel, which included the opportunity to participate in a tradition of hand delivering mail. To wrap up the morning, we explored the underwater world of Champion Islet with its unique composition of marine life.

In the afternoon, we had time to expand our photography knowledge during a Q & A with our photo instructor. We closed out the day with a walk to Cormorant Point. The amazing flora and fauna of Floreana glowed in the light of a great sunset on the horizon.
