Our day started at the gorgeous, white sandy beach located at Gardner Islet. This beach is considered one of the most beautiful beaches in the Galapagos Archipelago and we had time to take pictures of the Galapagos sea lions who were resting along the shore. Then we went for a deep-water snorkeling excursion at Gardner Islet. It was amazing to be in the water with playful Galapagos sea lions and schools of colorful and silvery fish.
In the afternoon, we went for a hike at Punta Suarez, a visitor site that is covered with sea birds! We observed Nazca boobies, we witnessed the moment when blue-footed boobies were mating, and on top of that, we observed nesting waved albatross right next to the trail! These awesome experiences will last a lifetime.
