Today we spent a wonderful day at one of the oldest islands of the archipelago: Española. This is home to an abundance of wildlife. We spent our morning at Gardner Bay, roughly one kilometer in length and among the most pristine beaches in the Galapagos Archipelago. Gardner is home to Galapagos sea lions, who share their habitat with Española mocking birds.
Our guests enjoyed unforgettable snorkeling with playful Galapagos sea lions as well as kayaking and paddleboarding along the coastal area. In the afternoon we visited Punta Suarez. Out hiking, we observed colorful Galapagos marine iguanas, Galapagos sea lions, Galapagos doves, Española mocking birds, Nazca boobies and waved albatross! Galapagos is a hotbed for wildlife and a treasure for those visiting!
