We had an absolutely beautiful morning, starting before breakfast for a skiff exploration followed by a forest walk to visit a small community made of a few families whose main activity is fishing. Our journey on skiffs was a very rewarding one! All of us photographing every creature we found there.
As we explored the forest, we had some amazing sightings! The trees were full of surprises as there were troops of squirrel monkeys, to the delight of everyone! This forest is home to the charming toucan barbet and the elusive yellow-crowned parrot.
In the afternoon we explored Pacaya River for more wildlife sightings. This place is amazing due to the abundance of wildlife. This part of the reserve is home to several types of monkeys, birds, caimans, and river dolphins!
