Today was the last day of our expedition, and we made the most of it. We started the day with an early kayaking session to explore the coast of the island’s protected bay. On land, we saw unique Santa Fe land iguanas near the massive prickly pear cacti of the Galapagos. Later, we enjoyed a wonderful snorkel in the crystalline water of the bay. We swam with turtles, sea lions, sharks, and a great variety of fish.
We spent a beautiful afternoon at Cerro Brujo, one of the most beautiful beaches of the enchanted islands. We had some leisure time to use as we preferred: a stroll along the beach, taking more photos of the wildlife, or simply going for a dip in the very refreshing waters of the Pacific Ocean. What a way to end a spectacular expedition.
