A brisk wind met our morning visit to the Columbia River Gorge. Guests began the day in Hood River traveling to Multnomah Falls, Oregon to see a spectacular waterfall. The falls, dropping a whopping 620-ft, never disappoint. Afterward, one group of guests climbed Beacon Rock while others visited the Columbia River Interpretive Museum accompanied by local wine and appetizers.

In the afternoon, guests were given a presentation on Lewis and Clark’s return trip by River Historian Patrick MacQuarrie, followed by a festive party on the bow while transiting the last lock of the voyage, the Bonneville Lock and Dam.

The evening came with cocktail hour, recap, and dinner, followed by an after-dinner film about Columbia bar pilots.
