After days of traveling through the islands, forests, and fjords of Alaska’s costal wilderness, we took the opportunity to experience the culture of the area by exploring the small fishing village of Petersburg. We spent the entire day hiking through the saturated soils of the muskeg ecosystem, learning how to capture the spirit of the unique town on guided photo walks, and joining our undersea team in discussing the different kinds of fishing techniques and boats you can find here.
