Costa Rica gave us quite a show today. We began our morning activities at Punta Caletas with horseback riding and hiking through the forest. Some explorers went on to enjoy views of birds like the colorful scarlet macaws with its flared display of color and bird calls while other observed the workings of busy leafcutter ants.
But the uncontested sight of the day was a Mexican tamandua anteater spotted napping in a treetop. We rounded out our day with a visit to Corcovado National Park where we visited a local waterfall and several guests went for a swim. Yet another captivating day in Costa Rica!
