Today is our last day of this amazing eight-day expedition through Panama and Costa Rica. It has been a wonderful experience, and guests have enjoyed the beauty of the rainforest in all of its life forms. The day started in Caletas Beach, a pristine secondary growth forest where guests enjoyed the chance to see nature in different ways. The first ones to arrive got the chance to go horseback riding along the coastline, where the capuchin monkeys entertained with acrobatics in the tree canopy. Later, other hikes where offered so guests could understand the tropical ecology and see great examples of ficus trees, gaudy birds, and colorful butterflies. Everyone that stayed at the beach enjoyed some leisure time as well as time for shopping for local arts and crafts from the people of Drake Bay.
As the afternoon arrived, guests visited Corcovado National Park, one of the most biologically intense places on Earth. The opportunity to go on a hike and take a swim in the refreshing waters where monkeys and sloths live all together was the perfect way to finish this fantastic experience. Guests later enjoyed a photo slideshow with pictures that will last forever in their minds and hearts.
