Today we did an early walk to the top of Bartolome Island to discover a few new geological elements. We observed spatter cones, scoria, tuff formations, and the especially interesting volcanic sediments beach. In the afternoon we visited Rabida Island and also see the red volcanic sediments on the beach. So this time we were able to compare both types of sediments and also compare them to the organic sand beaches to see the differences.
