Today, our expedition was in Bartolome and Sombrero Chino — two striking jewels of the Galápagos, each revealing a different side of this enchanted archipelago.
The day began with an early ascent up 376 steps to the summit of Bartolomé Islet. From the top, the panorama was breathtaking — lava flows frozen in time, turquoise waters sparkling below, and distant islands casting soft shadows over the ocean. Later, we traveled to Sombrero Chino, where we explored by Zodiac. Sea lions lounged along the rocks, stretching and yawning like they owned the world.
These islands didn’t just host us—they shared their stories, their creatures, and a piece of their magic.
