We started the day with the sunrise today! We took a pre-breakfast hike on Bartolome Island to see the iconic view from the Galapagos Pinnacle. It is an amazing place to take panoramic pictures and learn about the geology of the Galapagos.  During our way back to the ship, we had our first encounter with the Galapagos penguins; we spotted them on a rock surrounded by sally lightfoot crabs.

After a well-deserved breakfast, we headed to the water for our choice of activities. Beach time, glass-bottom boat rides or snorkeling were the options. Nevertheless, if you want to do it all, it’s possible!

In the afternoon, we had our second snorkeling outing of the day and this time we had Galapagos penguins in the water with us! We had so much fun with those creatures in the water.

Our BBQ-style dinner was the surprise of the day! To end our journey, naturalist Christian Saa and our guest Cristina Morrison performed for us on stage. We had so much fun! Thanks, National Geographic Endeavour II! This has been another wonderful day onboard.
