This morning we visited the small and amazing island of Bartolome. Many of our guests enjoyed an optional early walk before breakfast. The landscape of Bartolome is spectacular during the first hours of the morning, a great place to learn about the geology of the Galapagos. After breakfast there was time to enjoy the beach and a great deep water snorkeling excursion. Here we saw plenty of colorful and silvery fish, white-tipped reef sharks and Galapagos penguins.
The afternoon was spent at Chinese Hat, a perfect place for a second deep water snorkeling outing. The water was clear, visibility was excellent and tons of fish were seen. Galapagos penguins were fishing and when they arrived to the rocky shoreline, it was the right time for a Zodiac ride. What a fantastic day in Paradise! Galapagos is a treasure for the generations to come.
