When we woke on board National Geographic Venture, the ship was cruising north along the Pacific side of the Baja peninsula on the way toward La Entrada, the main entrance to Magdalena Bay. It was a “sleep-in” morning, with a late brunch that included all the fixings! Along the way, we were treated to six unique traveling companions. Masked boobies followed the ship for over an hour to the delight of photographers. Once the ship entered Mag Bay, we had just enough time for a short landing to stretch our legs before sunset, which was followed by dinner.
