The last day of the expedition was spent aboard National Geographic Endurance cruising to our final destination of Ushuaia, Argentina. The day began with a bright and beautiful sunrise on the eastern horizon. As the day went on, we were treated to close sightings of albatross and whales as well as several educational presentations.
In the afternoon, the ship entered the calm waters of the Beagle Channel. The welcome still waters and birds lazily soaring were the perfect way to be greeted back to the South American Continent. While the day drew to a close, the ship docked in Ushuaia. It was a wonderful end to a fantastic adventure. What a day!
